We had another lovely trip to Marco Island a few weeks ago for a Halloween weekend wedding with Melissa and Chris at the Marco Island Marriott. Great weather and a great crowd for this casual wedding celebration. We had some fun with them Thursday night at a local bar shooting some casual images of them and their wedding party having fun and playing pool, and then had a great time with them on the wedding day.

As many of you know, Chris and Melissa got married on Marco Island last fall. Looks like they are still Happy!

When it comes to relaxing, there is no better view than that of Lake Erie...and a ride on the Millennium Force!

Shoot the Rapids opened Saturday, June 26 after a number of construction delays. Abigail, Angie and I were there for the first ride at Cedar Point, thanks to a charity auction for the Red Cross. The weather was tasty, so being soaked wasn't too bad.
Bryan Edwards at Cedar Point (www.CedarPoint.com) handled our morning duties. We enjoyed fresh pastries, juice and coffee in the Red Garter Saloon. Thanks to a short delay for our first ride, Abigail got to experience her very first ride in the front seat/front car of the Millennium Force. It is Jeffrey's (both I and II) most favorite seat because you can "see it all" during the ride.
The staff of the Red Cross and Cedar Point were most hospitable. Dick Kinzel, Cedar Fair's CEO made the "just wait till our new ride for next year at Cedar Point" announcement/teaser before we crossed the Cedar Point and Lake Erie RR tracks and boarded our boat.

Coastermania:
On June 5, JBII, Angie, Bob Jorgensen, Director of Bands at the University of Akron and moi, spent Saturday, June 5, at Cedar Point. We started with a back lot tour of the Millennium Force at 5:30am and by 6:20am; we were on our first ride of the day ON the Millennium Force. By 9am, we had multiple rides on the Millennium Force; the Maverick; the Raptor; and the Skyhawk. We were then off to Breakfast and Bob headed back to Akron for a date with his bed, for a nap. In the afternoon, Angie, JBII and I went back for a great luncheon buffet organized by Bryan Edwards and sponsored by the kind folks at Cedar Point.
Enjoy the pictures as we really enjoyed the day!

Eileen visited Jeff and Chris in Perth over the Spring. The airplane flight was WAY too long for JB! With his girlfriend in Spain, it looks like Jeff has found time for other pursuits!
